Here are some suggested problems to do:
- p. 82 #3.3.2
- p. 100 #3..1 parts (a), (b); #3.5.2i parts (a),(b); #3.5.2ii parts (a), (b)
- p. 117 #3.6.1 parts (a), (b), (c). For each of these first do steps (i) and (ii), then do steps (iii) and (iv) with the original relation (not with the BCNF decomposition)
- p. 126 #3.7.3 parts (a), (b), (c)
Here is a subset of these I would like you to hand in on Monday 3.6::
- p. 82 #3.3.2
- p. 117 #3.6.1 part (c) steps (i) and (ii). (i.e., just the BCNF decomposition)
- p. 126 #3.7.3 part (b)
